The wait list for senior housing units at Southern New Hampshire Services properties in Manchester and Nashua have been closed until further notice.

The closure is the result of excess wait times that can be anticipated by individuals currently on the list. Those wait times could be as long as 3-5 years in some cases.

The closure was effective August 17, 2018. Any application or request form received and dated at any of the agency’s senior housing locations prior to that date will be added to the waitlist.

The Nashua housing sites affected are Davidson Landing  1 & 2, Streeter Shores and Wagner Court. Manchester locations are Derryfield Village, Hallsville Court 1 & 2 and Sundance Village.

Senior housing sites managed by Southern New Hampshire Services in other areas of the state continue to accept applications for individuals to be placed on their wait lists.

The wait list closure will continue until such time that the current list reaches a point where wait times for available units becomes more reasonable.

The end of the closure will be announced through public notice in area newspapers and on the Southern New Hampshire Services’ website.
