Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)

CACFP Sponsorship is available to Family Child Care Homes, Child Care Centers,  AT RISK Programs, Homeless Shelters and Adult Care Centers, to receive reimbursement for the meals that they serve to the children and adults in their care. Southern New Hampshire Services is a sponsor of the program for the State of New Hampshire.

How does CACFP work?

FAMILY CHILD CARE HOMES/CHILD CARE CENTERS

• We will use existing financial documentation to determine your eligibility for either Tier I or Tier II status for Family Day Care Homes. For Child Care Center, we will use Family Income.
• You will use the educational resources provided to prepare and serve USDA approved  meals to the children in your care.
• You will receive a reimbursement check at the following rates:

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: How to File a Complaint, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
