Early Head Start is a comprehensive child development program designed to foster the healthy development of infants and toddlers and their families.
EHS Center Based Services
(for families in need of full day services)
Childcare Services
- Quality care with 1:4 teacher to child ratios;
- Ongoing developmental screening and assessment;
- Activities to enhance child development and build social & self-help skills;
- Individualized services provided to meet the needs of children with disabilities.
Center Services
- Full service kitchen with all meals provided;
- Diapers, formula & wipes provided
- Accepts NH Child Care Development Fund Scholarship
Family Services
- Parenting support and education;
- Parent involvement opportunities and social activities;
- Support with access to needed community services.
- Staff supports families in identifying transportation resources
Eligibility:
- Must meet income and area requirements.
- Services children 6 weeks-3 years
EHS Home Based
Infant & Toddler Services
- Weekly home visits;
- Ongoing developmental screening and assessment;
- Parent/child activities designed to enhance development.
Family Services
- Parenting support and education;
- Parent involvement opportunities and social activities;
- Support with access to needed community services.
- Staff supports families in identifying transportation resources.
Eligibility
- Services children 6 weeks to 3 years
- Must meet income and area requirements.
- No cost for home based services
