The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans, including the elderly, by providing emergency food assistance at no cost. A program of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), TEFAP provides bulk commodities of food to food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens and non-profit charitable organizations throughout Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: How to File a Complaint, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
