New phone number in effect for Manchester area CSFP and WIC programs

Clients participating in the Commodity Supplemental Food and WIC Programs have a new number to call to schedule appointments and get program information. Effective September 3, residents from the Greater Manchester area seeking services from the programs, should call 1-800-256-9880 to reach the SNHS' sponsored nutrition programs.

Program participants from Rockingham County will use the same 1-800-256-9880 number to request nutrition program services. The phone number change does not affect those participating in the program from the Greater Nashua area.

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program provides healthy foods for children up to their sixth birthday, new mothers up to one year after the baby is born (may not be enrolled in WIC), and seniors 60 years and older.

The WIC program serves pregnant women during pregnancy and up to six weeks after birth of an infant; postpartum woman up to six months after the birth of the infant; and breastfeeding women up to the infant's first birthday. Infants qualify up to their first birthday and children are eligible up to their fifth birthday.
