RSVP-Cashin Senior Activity Center host Senior Wellness Event
Manchester area seniors are invited to attend a Health, Wellness and Fitness Expo at the William B. Cashin Senior Activity Center on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. The event is co-hosted by the Cashin Center and Southern New Hampshire Services.
The event will run from 11am-1:00pm. The Cashin Senior Activity Center is located at 151 Douglas St. in Manchester.
The Health, Wellness and Fitness Expo will be an interactive, fun event to promote healthy lifestyle choices, increase bone health awareness, and present information for seniors on resources available to help heat their homes.
The event will showcase several Southern New Hampshire Service programs, including the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, Seniors Count Friendly Visitors program, Bone Builders exercise program, the RSVP Fixit Corps, and CATCH Healthy Habits. The Energy Assistance Programs and Commodity Supplemental Food Programs offered by Southern New Hampshire Services will also be featured.
Attendees will be able to taste test healthy snacks and enter to win a health and wellness gift basket.
