Head Start Program Now Enrolling

The Southern New Hampshire Services Head Start program is now taking applications for the 2020-21 school year. Head Start is a national program that promotes school readiness by helping preschoolers develop the early reading, math and social skills they need for a successful transition to kindergarten.  The program also provides a nutritious breakfast and lunch daily, family support services and opportunities for family involvement. There are part and full day classes available to meet the needs of all families. The program serves 3 and 4 year olds and there is no cost to income eligible families for part day services. Cost for full day services is based on family income.

 

If your child will be 3 years old by September 30^, 2020, you may be eligible. Head Start classrooms are located in Manchester, Nashua, Derry, Greenville, Hillsborough, Raymond, Hampton, Portsmouth and Seabrook.
