The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) distributes fresh produce to more than 4,200 low income New Hampshire seniors each summer. The current program runs through mid-September.
Food pantries located in the three Rockingham County Outreach Offices provide food allotments to households facing severe economic hardship in areas where other locally-based food pantries are under-stocked or unavailable.

The Community Gardens Program is an initiative of SNHS and Hillsborough County to provide garden plots to interested individuals on county land located in Goffstown. Income eligible Hillsborough County residents are given priority to available plots and are provided a plot free of charge. A nominal donation is requested of community members exceeding the income threshold. Benefits of the program include greater access to fresh local produce, lower grocery bills and an increased sense of community. Up to 50 garden plots are provided through the Community Gardens Program each year.

CACFP Sponsorship is available to Family Child Care Homes, Child Care Centers, AT RISK Programs, Homeless Shelters and Adult Care Centers, to receive reimbursement for the meals that they serve to the children and adults in their care. Southern New Hampshire Services is a sponsor of the program for the State of New Hampshire.
