Valerie Carignan is the Director of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition program. She started her career working in WIC and the Commodity Supplemental Foods Program (CSFP) 24 years ago, as a Clinic Technician. In 2008 Valerie had the opportunity to move into the role of Operations Coordinator for the WIC and CSFP programs, which enabled her to develop her leadership skills and gain valuable experience in the world of non-profit organizations. In her position as WIC Director, which Valerie has held since 2014, she oversees the largest WIC program in New Hampshire.  In her personal time, Valerie enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
